DENVER — The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released its Academic All-Conference team and honor roll lists Thursday afternoon, which saw MSU Denver with a league-leading four first-team All-Academic selections along with 16 student athletes named to the academic honor roll.
Easton Amundson, Erubiel Ortiz, Brooks Rasmussen, and Gavin Schmeh rounded out the first-team selections for the Roadrunners. This is their first time being honored with an All-Academic selection in their collegiate careers.
Ortiz was named to the All-RMAC first team last week, while Amundson and Schmeh were named to the second team. Ortiz and Schmeh also earned spots on the All-Conference Gold Glove squad.
Rasmussen was one of the four players named on the All-Academic team to carry a 4.0 GPA, and is majoring in Sport Management.
