DENVER — A busy weekend awaits MSU Denver Athletics as women's basketball, men's basketball and track and field all hit the road for key competitions all around Colorado.
Women's Basketball
The Roadrunners will continue RMAC play with a pair of road games this week. MSU Denver opens the week on Thursday, January 15, traveling to Colorado Christian for a 6:00 p.m. tipoff. The Roadrunners will then head south on Saturday, January 17, to face UCCS at 1:00 p.m. Both matchups will be important conference tests as MSU Denver looks to build momentum heading deeper into league play.
MSU Denver will look to get back in the win column after dropping their last two games at home.
Men's Basketball
Men's basketball also hits the road for two RMAC contests this week. The Roadrunners face Colorado Christian on Thursday, January 15, with tip set for 8:00 p.m. MSU Denver then travels to UCCS on Saturday, January 17, for a 3:00 p.m. matchup. Both games will be key conference battles as the Roadrunners continue their RMAC schedule.
Head coach Dan Ficke and his squad are coming off an outstanding home win over No. 11 ranked Black Hills State, their first ranked win since the beginning of the 2024-25 season.
Track and Field
MSU Denver indoor track and field returns to action this weekend over two days at the CU Potts Invitational after their month long holiday break.
The Roadrunners compete on Friday, January 16, and again on Saturday, January 17, in Boulder. The meet provides another strong opportunity for athletes to post competitive marks against a deep field as the indoor season continues.
