DENVER – MSU Denver Softball earned strong recognition from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Thursday morning as the league announced its 2026 All-RMAC teams ahead of the conference tournament.
The Roadrunners placed two players on the All-RMAC First Team, one on the Second Team, one Gold Glove honoree, and three honorable mention selections following a strong regular season campaign.
Leading the way for MSU Denver were First Team All-RMAC selections Brooklyn Enny and Cheyenne Prieto.
Prieto turned in one of the best offensive seasons in program history, leading the RMAC in both on-base percentage (.597) and OPS (1.408), while ranking second in batting average (.476) and third in slugging percentage (.811). She also finished among the conference leaders in hits, home runs, and walks, including a conference-best 42 walks on the season.
Her historic campaign etched her name throughout the MSU Denver record book, as her .597 on-base percentage set a new single-season program record, while her 42 walks also established a new school record. Additionally, her .476 batting average ranks third all-time in program history, while her .811 slugging percentage ranks fifth.
Enny earned First Team honors after serving as one of the top power hitters in the RMAC all season long. The Roadrunners third baseman led the team with 13 home runs, ranking second in the conference, while adding 46 RBIs, which ranked eighth in the RMAC. She was also the only Roadrunner to play and start in all 54 regular season games.
One of Enny's signature moments came against Colorado School of Mines earlier this season, when she blasted two grand slams and drove in eight RBIs—the most by a Roadrunner in a single game since 2012.
In the circle, Natalie Romero earned Second Team All-RMAC honors while also being named to the RMAC Gold Glove Team. Romero anchored the Roadrunners pitching staff throughout the season, ranking fifth in the conference in innings pitched (139), fourth in wins (14), and ninth in opponent batting average (.271). She led MSU Denver in every major pitching category and totaled 14 complete games during the regular season.
The Roadrunners also saw Shay Cwelich, Trinity Kennemer, and Victoria Pearson earn honorable mention recognition after each played key roles throughout the season.
MSU Denver now turns its attention to postseason play, as the No. 3 seed Roadrunners open the RMAC Tournament on Thursday afternoon against Colorado School of Mines at All-Star Park in Lakewood.
