DENVER – The MSU Denver volleyball team continued its tradition of excellence in the classroom Thursday, earning the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 10th consecutive year.

The Roadrunners were among 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball programs recognized by the AVCA after posting a team grade-point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year.

The annual award recognizes volleyball programs that demonstrate a sustained commitment to academic success while balancing the demands of competition. MSU Denver's latest honor extends a decade-long streak of earning the national academic distinction.

MSU Denver has consistently excelled both on and off the court, continuing to build a culture that emphasizes achievement in the classroom alongside athletic success.

The AVCA announced the 2026 Team Academic Award recipients Thursday morning, recognizing programs from across the country that met the organization's academic benchmark during the year-long evaluation period.
