ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The MSU Denver Roadrunners played Saint Martin's to a scoreless draw Saturday afternoon, moving to 0-1-3 on the season.
The Roadrunners created several opportunities throughout the match, finishing with a 7-5 advantage in shots over the Saint Martin's Saints. MSU Denver also put four shots on frame, compared to two for Saint Martin's.
Taylor Matthews led the Roadrunners with three shots, including one on goal, while Cassidy Gottesman added two shots with one finding the target.
Goalkeeper Morgan Shirley anchored the Roadrunners' defensive effort, recording her first clean sheet of the season while making two saves to keep Saint Martin's off the scoreboard.
The Saints held a narrow advantage in corner kicks, earning 10 compared to nine for the Roadrunners, but MSU Denver's defense remained firm throughout the afternoon to secure the draw.
The result marks the Roadrunners' third draw through their first four matches of the 2026 season.
MSU Denver returns home Friday, when it hosts Fort Hays State in its next contest.
