2012-13: Earned first team all-RMAC for singles and second team all-RMAC for doubles ... named RMAC academic player of the year ... posted a 15-12 singles record at No. 1 and a 10-18 doubles record at No. 1 with Adrien Delvaux ... went 3-2 in RMAC singles matches and 1-4 in RMAC doubles matches ... had two four-match singles winning streaks during the season ... defeated Andrea Bolic of NCAA Division I South Dakota State on Feb. 16 and was subsequently named RMAC player of the week on Feb. 20 ... earned a singles win against No. 13 Grand Canyon on March 16 ... earned RMAC singles wins against Colorado State-Pueblo, Colorado Mesa and Colorado Christian and won a doubles match against CCU ... won five straight doubles matches with Delvaux near the end of the season, including a win over No. 33 Western New Mexico in the RMAC tournament semifinals.

2011-12: Named second team All-RMAC in both singles and doubles ... posted a 13-14 singles record at No. 2 and went 20-11 at No. 1 doubles with Lucio Cangiano ... was 1-7 in singles matches against regionally-ranked opponents and 5-5 in doubles matches ... went 2-4 in RMAC singles matches and 3-3 in doubles matches ... earned his first career win at Metro State on Sept. 9 with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Anthony Forcucci of Nebraska-Omaha ... reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Central Region singles championship ... defeated Alex Lesiuk of Colorado State-Pueblo 6-2, 6-1 in the quarterfinals of the RMAC Tournament ... won 6-3, 6-0 over Mikel Kosich from Montana State-Billings to help Metro State win third place at the RMAC Tournament ... teamed with Cangiano to reach the finals of the doubles regional ITA tournament ... earned seven straight doubles wins to open the season ... Cangiano and Vlahos went 3-0 at No. 1 doubles in the RMAC Tournament.

Before Metro State: Played two seasons at Ventura (Calif.) College ... won the Western State Conference doubles championship in 2010 and 2011 ... won the state championship in 2010 ... reached the semifinals in singles in 2010 ... was ranked No. 1 in doubles and No. 6 in singles in the Southern California ITA rankings ... coached by Nelson Emery.

High School: 2007 graduate of Colegio de Santa Ines ... led his team to the state championship match five times ... competed for Clube Esperia ... ranked 17th in the nation in 2006 and 32nd in 2007.

Personal: Born May 29, 1990 ... son of Elaine Cristine Torrado Vlahos and Panagiotis Vlahos ... has a sister, Karina Vlahos ... majoring in business administration with a minor in management.
