2009: Started 33 matches at middle blocker and played in 120 sets ... named third team All-RMAC and first team Academic All-RMAC ... also earned the Comeback Award from the Sportswomen of Colorado ... finished eighth in the nation in hitting percentage, connecting at a .396 (248-50-500) clip ... hit .394 in conference matches, ranking third in the RMAC ... led Metro State in hitting percentage and was third in kills, averaging 2.07 per set ... was second on the team with 74 blocks ... had 10+ kills 11 times ... recorded 11 kills and hit .600 (11-2-15) against Central Oklahoma on Aug. 28 ... hit double digits in kills in three straight matches from Sept. 5 to Sept. 19 ... helped the Roadrunners knock off No. 3 West Texas A&M on Sept. 5 with 12 kills, four blocks and a .476 (12-2-21) hitting percentage ... had a season-high 13 kills in a career-high 33 attemptson Sept. 11 at Colorado Mines ... had 11 kills and seven blocks against UC-Colorado Springs on Sept. 19 ... had 10 kills and six blocks at UCCS on Nov. 6 ... hit a career-high .727 (9-1-11) at Colorado Christian the next night on Nov. 7 ... had 11 kills against Mesa State in the RMAC semifinals and totaled 10 kills with a .625 (10-0-16) hitting percentage against No. 13 Southwest Minnesota State in the NCAA Tournament.

2008: Earned a medical redshirt ... appeared in five matches earlier in the season before suffering an injury … totaled 37 kills and 20 blocks in 15 sets … had a season-high 14 kills against Hawaii-Hilo on Aug. 29 with just two errors in 26 attempts (.462) … had six kills in seven attempts (.857) in win over Charleston (W.Va.) on Aug. 28 … had a hitting percentage of over .400 in four of the five matches she played in.

Before Metro State: Spent her 1997 freshman and 1998 sophomore seasons at the University of Mississippi ... had a career hitting percentage of .298 ... coached by Jon Blair.

High School: 1997 graduate of Chaska High School … two-year letterwinner... an honorable mention All-Lake Conference selection as a 1996 senior ... the Hawks won the state championship and were ranked No. 7 in the nation as a senior ... coached by Sue Murphy ... also lettered in track and field, diving and gymnastics.

Personal: Born Nov. 1, 1978 ... daughter of Steve and Jolene Hackbarth ... has two brothers, Steve and Wade, and a sister, Jena ... is married to husband, Andrew, and the couple has two children, Ava and Liam ... served as an assistant coach at Fort Lewis for two seasons before coming to Metro State ... volunteers at Children's Hospital ... majoring in civil engineering with a minor in mathematics ... wants to become an architect after graduation.
