2016: Played in 24 games with 21 starts as a junior ... made all 21 starts at catcher … batted .301 with 22 hits, 10 runs scored, 10 runs batted in, and three doubles … walked twice in 73 at bats ... had five multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games ... went on a 7-game hitting streak from March 13 to April 10, batting .333 with six RBIs, three runs, and a pair of doubles during that stretch … went 4-for-4 with three runs and a double to end the season on a positive note and help the team to a win at Colorado Christian in Game 2 of a doubleheader on May 6.

2015: Played in 35 games with 29 starts at first base ... batted .258 with 25 hits, 11 runs scored, nine runs batted in, five doubles, one home run and one triple, while walking three times ... had five multi-hit games ... went 2-for-4 with a home run at No. 6/17 Emporia State on Feb. 6 ... went 2-for-4 with a triple in a win over New Mexico Highlands in Game 1 on April 4 ... batted 3-for-5 with a run scored in a win over No. 16/15 CSU-Pueblo in the first round of the RMAC Tournament ... had two hits in back-to-back games against No. 3/2 Colorado Mesa at the RMAC Tournament May 8-9 ... named to the RMAC all-tournament team after batting .500 with seven hits, two runs, one RBI and one double in four games.

2014: Played in 22 games with 16 starts at first base and designated hitter as a true freshman ... batted .216 with 17 runs batted in, five runs scored, four doubles, two triples and one home run ... went 11-for-51 at the plate and struck out 12 times with six walks ... also stole two bases in two attempts ... had three multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games ... recorded first career hit, a double, against No. 25/16 Colorado Mesa on March 25 ... drove in three runs and went 1-for-2 with a double at Regis in Game 1 on March 29 ... went 2-for-3 with four RBIs and hit his first career home run against Colorado Christian on April 5 in Game 2 ... went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a triple against Adams State on April 27 ... went 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs at New Mexico Highlands in Game 1 on May 3.

High School: 2013 graduate of Rocky Mountain High School ... three-year letterwinner ... selected for the 2013 Colorado Futures Game ... two-time all-conference ... honorable mention academic all-state ... batted .432 with 22 RBIs, 20 runs, 10 doubles, two home runs and nine stolen bases as a senior ... batted .434 as a junior ... also lettered in wrestling.

Summer Team: 2012 Legion A state champions and fourth in the regional tournament ... also played for Saskatoon in the Western Major Baseball League in Canada in 2013.

Personal: Born Marcus Aaron Bean on Sept. 18, 1994 ... son of Dell and Beth Bean... majoring in psychology with a minor in human performance and sports with a concentration in coaching.
