Before MSU Denver: Played for Lamar Community College ... coached by Scott Cramptom ... made the All Colorado academic team ... student body president ... in 2015-2016, had 32.1 IP and a 3.62 ERA.

High School: 2014 graduate of Kelly Walsh High School ... coached by Andrew Kaiser ... also was a three-year letterwinner in basketball.

Personal: Born Beecher Joseph Strube on August 31, 1995 ... Son of Cathy and Beecher Strube ... has one brother, Joel and two sisters, Abigail and Sarah.
