Issued only 13 walks for 2.1 per nine innings, the 14th-best single-season mark in program history among qualifiers. ... Pitched into the ninth inning in a second straight start on April 20, allowing two runs on seven hits in 8 1/3 innings to earn the win over UCCS. He walked one and struck out three. ... Struck out a career-high nine April 14 against Dixie State. He had allowed four runs on nine hits through eight innings before being charged with three more runs in his 8 2/3-inning effort. ... Allowed one run on nine hits in six innings against Adams State on March 24. He walked three and struck out three to improve to 2-0. ... Earned first MSU Denver victory against New Mexico Highlands on March 18, allowing three runs on six hits while walking one and striking out five in five innings. ... PItched 3 2/3 scoreless innings Feb. 16 against Sioux Falls, giving up four hits and a walk while striking out one in a no-decision.
