Bill Brady begins his fifth year as an assistant coach at Metro State 2010. Brady coaches first base, outfield and strength and conditioning.
During his time at Metro State, the Roadrunners have earned four consecutive RMAC tournament bids and established a school record of 38 wins during the 2008 season. Brady has served as the interim head coach and assists in all other aspects of the baseball program.
With his first season under Tom Carcione, Brady has now served under three head coaches with the Roadrunners.
Brady is retired from two careers, Law Enforcement and U. S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets). His experience in these careers with teaching, training and leadership, brings a unique blend of skill sets to the program, promoting a "can-do" and "get it done" team environment.
Brady is a Colorado native and former high school three-sport standout, receiving all conference honors and earning a basketball scholarship to Colorado State College (UNC). Brady is a former amateur boxer and holds high belts in Japanese Jujitsu and Karate.
Brady played baseball with the University of Denver summer team and Regis University while being recruited by the late Phillies Scout and Minor League manager Herschel Martin.
Brady has a number of years coaching baseball at the youth and high school levels.
He resides in Golden, Colo., with his 16-year-old son.
