Biography

2025: Peters appeared in 11 games and made seven starts during the 2025 campaign, finishing with a 4–2 record..he logged 34.1 innings pitched and struck out 28 batters..Peters showed the ability to miss bats and compete deep into starts, recording several outings where he limited damage despite high-leverage situations...his seven starts were tied for third-most on the team and four wins were tied for second-most...threw a scoreless six innings while striking out a career-high 10 batters on 4/7 against New Mexico Highlands.

Before MSU Denver: Played the 2023 and 2024 seasons with San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California. Was the winning pitcher in the semi championship game of the CA State Finals. Had a 2.82 ERA in just over 38 innings pitched and finished with a 6-2 record. 

High School: Saint Mary's HS and played for Randy Ortega. Had a 0.74 ERA in 20 innings. Earned second team all-league honors as a pitcher. 

Personal: Full name is Drew Bion Peters, birthday is October 2, 2003, Son of Reed and Audrey Peters, has two brothers Beau and Cade Peters. Father Reed played seven seasons in the minor leagues, uncle John Orton played five seasons with the Los Angeles Angels, grandfather Rex Peters played three seasons in the Baltimore Orioles minor league system and has another uncle that was drafted by the Seattle Mariners right out of high school and then by the Los Angeles Dodgers after attending Cal State Fullerton.
