Before MSU Denver: Played two seasons at Lamar (Colo.) Community College...Batted .278 (44-for-158) with four homers, 37 RBIs, nine doubles and eight stolen bases as a freshman for the Lopes, then followed that up by hitting .264 (34-for-129) with 23 RBIs, eight doubles and nine stolen bases as a sophomore. Two-year totals: .271 (78-for-287), four homers, 60 RBIs, 17 doubles, 17 stolen bases.
