Biography

Before MSU Denver: Umpqua Community College in Roseburg Oregon during his freshman and sophomore seasons. Sported a 1.82 ERA and a 17-3 record while striking out 132 batters in 128.2 innings pitched. 
 
High School: Bear Creek High School in Lakewood, Colorado. Played under Sean Hoorelbeke and Robert Mitchell. Also played hockey in high school.  

Personal: Full name is Samuel David Coffman, son of Wendy and David Coffman, has brother Wyatt Coffman, majoring in Fire & Emergency Response.
