MSU Denver Athletics

Before MSU Denver: Redshirted at Mt. San Antonio College in 2022. Played for Cerritos College in 2023 where he hit .259 in 11 games played. Played for Diablo Valley College in 2024 and hit .357 in seven games played, had 10 hits in 28 at bats, adding one home run, two doubles, six RBI and six runs scored, season ended early and redshirted. 

High School: Brea Olinda HS in Brea, California and played under Coach Rich Pohle. In 2001, hit .339 in 24 games played, had two doubles, two triples, two stolen bases, 14 runs scored, six RBI and had an .861 OPS. 2021 second team all-league, 2021 Ryan Lemmon Senior All-Star game, 2021 Defensive Player of the Year, 2021 Team Captain and lettered three times. 

Personal: Full name is Scott Ashton Mitchell, birthday is March 20th, 2003, Son of Steve and Laura Mitchell. Has a brother Reid Mitchell. Majoring in Exercise Science.
