Keith Billingsley is in his sixth season with the Roadrunners as an assistant sprints and hurdles coach in 2017-18. He brings over 14 years of coaching experience to the Roadrunners, and also currently coaches a club team that he started in 2011.
He has coached multiple national-qualifier sprinters in outdoor track during his time with the Roadrunners and in addition to more in indoor track, including All-American Darius Reed in 2013. His sprinters have also earned numerous all-RMAC awards.
Billingsley began his coaching career at Rangeview High School in 1998 as the assistant sprints coach. He then coached his son's youth soccer team for eight years at the Rocky Mountain Soccer Academy. In 2006 he joined Cherry Creek High School's track team as an assistant sprints coach. After spending three years at Cherry Creek, he moved on to Eaglecrest High School for two years as the sprints and hurdles coach. He coached the fastest freshman in the country in 2010. Over the past six years, Billingsley has coached 25 state qualifiers, 15 indoor national qualifiers and three All-Americans.
A native of Denver, Colorado, he ran track at Hastings College in Hastings, Neb., where he twice earned All-America honors and still holds school records in the 300 yards and 600 yards. Billingsley has been married to Trichon Billingsley for 13 years and has three children, Taylor, Ashlyn and Sydni. He is currently finishing his bachelor's degree at MSU Denver in general studies.
