2020 Outdoor: No season due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 Indoor: Ran a personal-best 60 time of 6.95 in the prelims, then placed sixth in the finals (6.99) at the RMAC Outdoor Championships on Feb. 28-29. Also finished 11th in the 200 (22.86). ... Placed fourth in the 60 (7.04) at the Mines Friday Night Invitational on Feb. 21. ... Competed in both days of the Grand Valley State (Mich.) Big Meet on Feb. 14-15, with top finish 20th place in the 200 at 22.87. ... Finished third in the 60 (7.02) after running 6.97 in prelims, and placed ninth in the 200 (23.19) at the Mountain Lion Open on Feb. 7-8. ... Placed second in the 200 (23.24) and fourth in the 60 (6.99) at the Mines Winter Classic on Feb. 1. ... Won the 200 (22.95) and finished third in the 60 (7.05) after running 7.04 in prelims at the Chadron State Open on Jan. 18. ... Broke 7.0 in the 60 for the first time with a 6.97 clocking to place fourth at the Potts Open on Jan. 11. Also finished 11th in the 200 with a personal-best 22.44, and ran on the seventh-place 4x400 relay. ... Finished eighth in the 60 (7.04) and also placed 18th in the 300 (38.80) at the Air Force Holiday Open, Dec. 6.
2019 Outdoor Track & Field: Qualified for the RMAC Championships in both the 100 and 200, running times of 11.04 seconds (2.0) and 22.64 (1.9), respectively in the prelims. He also ran on the ninth-place 4x100 relay (42.85)...At the Bryan Clay Invitational on April 19, ran the 100 in a time of 11.12w(3.4) and the 200 in 22.62w(2.9)...At the Mines Kit Mayer Invite on April 13, ran the 200 in 22.42w(3.0) and the 400 in 54.44 while also running on the fifth-place 4x100 relay (42.75)...Finished ninth in the 100 at the Spank Blasing Invite on March 30 with a time of 11.34 (-1.4)...Finished ninth in the 100 with a time of 11.22 (1.1) and 13th in the 200 in 22.71 at the Fum McGraw on March 23, while also running with the sixth place 4x100 relay (44.19)...Placed sixth in the 100 with a time of 11.48 (-1.8) and 12th in the 200 in 22.88 (1.8) at the CSU-Pueblo Early Bird on March 16.
2018-19 Indoor Track & Field: Qualified for the RMAC Championships in the 60, running 7.13 in the preliminaries...Finished second in the 60 (7.11) and third in the 200 (23.62) at a triangular hosted by Colorado School of Mines on Feb. 15...Ran the 60 in 7.09 for ninth place, and finished 12th in the 200 in 23.42, at the Colorado Running Company Mountain Lion Open on Feb. 9...At the Colorado Invitational on Feb. 2, ran the 60 in 7.10 and the 200 in 23.02, finishing 20th and 31st, respectively...Placed fourth in the 60 with a time of 7.09 at the CSC Open on Jan. 20...Finished second in the 200 (23.71) and fourth in the 60 (7.09) at the season-opening Mines Alumni Classic & Multi on Dec. 7.
2018 Outdoor Track & Field: Finished second and set a personal record in the 100 meters with a time of 11.01 (1.04) at the Mines Sunday Last Chance on May 13. He also finished second in the 200 in 22.77 (2.0)...Ran on MSU Denver's eighth-place 4x100 relay team that clocked 42.81 at the RMAC Outdoor Championships, where he also ran 10.98w (2.3) in the 100 and 22.62 (0.4) in the 200...Finished 60th in the 100 at the Bryan Clay Invitational in 11.17 (-0.2), where he also ran the 200 in 22.83 (1.6)...Set a personal-best time of 22.31 (2.0) in the 200 while finishing 13th at the Mines Kit Mayer Invite on April 14, where he also ran on the second-place in the 4x100 relay (43.02)...Placed 12th in the 100 (11.06, 1.0) and 14th in the 200 (22.52, 1.0) at the CU Invitational...Finished third in the 200 (23.28, -2.1) and set a personal record in the 400 with a time of 53.03 for 16th place at the CSU-Pueblo Spank Blasing Invite...At the Mines Nature's Bakery Invite on March 24, he ran on the fourth-place 4x400 relay (3:48.60) and the sixth-place 4x100 team (43.43), while individually he placed 14th in the 100 (11.13, 1.7) and 17th in the 200 (22.88, -2.8)...Starred at the CSU-Pueblo Early Bird, finishing fifth in the 100 (11.03w, 2.1) and seventh in the 200 (22.74, -1.5) while running on the second place 4x100 relay (42.64) and the fifth-place 4x400 unit.
2017-18 Indoor Track & Field: Ran at 7.11 in the preliminaries of the 60 at the RMAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 23...Placed ninth in the 60 (7.20) and 30th in the 200 (22.87) at the Air Force Open...At the Colorado Invitational, set a personal record in the 60 with a time of 7.04 for 15th place and placed 30th in the 200 (22.87)...Finished ninth in the 200 (23.64) and 13th in the 60 (7.18) at the Mines D-II Invite & Multi...Finished sixth in the 60 Mines Twilight Classic on Jan. 20, running 7.23 after closing 7.09 in the prelims. Also placed fifth in the 200 (23.94) and 15th in the 400 (55.32).
Before MSU Denver: Competed as a freshman at Buena Vista (Iowa) during the 2016-17 academic year...Ran on the eighth-place 4x100 relay at the Iowa Conference Outdoor Championships...Set then personal bests in both the 100 (11.56, -0.8) and the 200 (23.26, -0.5), finishing sixth and 10th respectively, at the Buena Vista Outdoor Invite on April 1, 2017. Also ran on the fourth-place 4x400 relay (3:28.62)...Ran 6.74 for a personal best in the 55 at the Iowa Conference Indoor Championships...Placed sixth in the 60 at the Dennis Young Classic, running 7.21 in the finals after clocking a 7.18 in the prelims. Also went 17 feet, 2 3/4 inches in the long jump for 11th place.
High School: Competed for Matanzas High School in Palm Coast, Fla., graduating in 2016...Ran on school-record 4x200 relay team...Coached by Jacob Scott...Played two years of football and was invited to the Florida vs. Georgia all-star game.

Polite in Sacramento, Calif...Birthday is Jan. 23...Son of Antonio and Francine Polite..Has two brothers (Chico and Marcus) and two sisters (Jennifer and Jasmyn)...Uncle, Herman O'Berry, was a defensive back at Oregon and was drafted by the St. Louis Rams, playing one season in the NFL...Majoring in exercise science with a minor in health care.
