2016: Named honorable mention all-RMAC ... led the Roadrunners to an RMAC tournament championship and a NCAA tournament birth ... played and started 54 games as a junior pitcher and outfielder ... went 15-6 with a 3.60 ERA over 122.1 innings pitched ... struck out 70 while only walking 19 ... allowed a .318 opponent batting average and had 12 complete games ... led the team in wins, earned run average, and strikeouts ... finished third in the RMAC in wins (15), while also finishing seventh in both ERA (3.60) and batters struck out looking (28) … also batted .358 with 67 hits, 45 runs scored, 38 runs batted in, 16 doubles, seven triples, and three home runs ... led the team in hits, triples, and total bases (106) and was second on the team in batting average, slugging percentage (.567), and runs scored … finished second in the RMAC in triples with seven, while also finishing fifth in runs scored (45) and eighth in hits (67) … ranked 19th in NCAA Division II in triples per game (0.13) … had 23 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games ... did it all in earning first win and first complete game of the season, only giving up one earned run to go along with five strikeouts, while also going 3-for-4 with one RBI and one run against Western Oregon on Feb. 6 … had a 9-game hitting streak from Feb. 6 to Feb. 20 batting .485 with 16 hits, 10 RBIs, five doubles, two triples, and one home run.
Before Roadrunners: Played two seasons at North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene ... broke the school record for doubles in a season as a sophomore ... scholar-athlete as a freshman ... went 10-1 with a 2.91 ERA, three saves and 54 strikeouts in 48 innings pitched in 2015, while batting .534 with 32 doubles, nine home runs, eight doubles, 81 runs scored and 70 RBIs in 178 at bats ... coached by Don Don Williams and Shay Craig.
High School: 2013 graduate of Arlington High School ... three-year letterwinner ... coached by Dan Eng ... two-time first team all-conference ... led Arlington to a state championship as a senior after posting a 2.25 ERA in 81 innings and batting .522 with a .767 slugging percentage.
Personal: Born Hayley Ann Fields on July 4, 1995 ... daughter of Kim and Brian Fields ... has three younger sisters Hanna, Hayden (plays softball at Newberry College) and Kendall ... majoring in human performance & sport.
