Kelsey Jones enters her second season with the Metro State cross country program in 2010.  

During her first year, both the men's and the women's teams qualified for the NCAA Championships in cross country and both placed in the top-five in the RMAC and NCAA Central Region.  Three women's runners and two men were named All-RMAC and women's runner Danielle Kehoe was an all-region honoree.

Jones joined Metro State after coaching at Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho in 2008.

Jones ran cross country and track at Eastern Oregon University, earning All-America honors in outdoor, indoor and cross country as a distance runner.  She earned her bachelor's degree from EOU in physical education/health and business administration.  Jones also has experience as a personal trainer and in sales.

She is a native of Seward, Alaska.
