Before MSU Denver: Attended University of Colorado in Boulder for his freshman year.

High School: Attended East High...four-time varsity track and three-time varsity cross country...third place in the 5A triple jump...first team All-State selection...honor roll all four years...also played tennis and ultimate frisbee for one year.

Personal: Full name is Kai Douglas Luna...birthday is February 9...parents are Mira and Erick...has one sister, Marina...majoring in Finance.
