Andrew Herrold joined the MSU Denver track & field programs as an assistant coach in the fall of 2022.
He works primarily with the Roadrunners' sprinters.
Herrold is also a board member and coach at Amata Sports in Centennial, Colo., where he has collaborated with other coaches to create training programming to develop technical and mechanical awareness in sprinting and energy system training to maximize performance, communicated with college coaches to sign program athletes to pursue track & field at the collegiate level, and researched and written proposals for grants to assist in program funding.
He was an assistant track & field coach at Lutheran High School in Parker, Colo., from 2017 through 2020.
Herrold graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor of arts in English literature in May, 2018.
