2025: All-RMAC Honorable Mention ... Academic All-RMAC Honor Roll ... Appeared in 16 games and started in 10 of them. He played in 857 minutes recorded a season-high 74 minutes twice against Westminster and against UCCS in the conference tournament final. Sumner scored one goal and recorded four assists to reached six points on the season. He scored his only goal of 2025 against the Colorado School of Mines to help lead the team to the 3-0 win over the Orediggers. He assisted on a goal against Fort Lewis and handed out two against Adams State. 

2024: Appeared in all 19 games for the Roadrunners, started in all but one of them…played 1072 minutes during the season, season-high 73 minutes on 10/3/24 against CSU Pueblo…tallied his one assist against Westminster during the Roadrunners 2-1 win…totaled nine shots, five on goal.

2023: True freshman played in 12 games for a total of 299 minutes. ... Took two shots. ... Played a career-high 47 minutes in a 3-0 win at South Dakota Mines on Sept. 22. ... Made his MSU Denver debut during the 9-0 win over St. Cloud State (Minn.) on Sept. 3, playing 22 minutes off the bench.

Club: Helped Real Colorado to a quarterfinal finish at MLS Next Finals.

High School: Played high school soccer as a freshman, playing in 14 games for Evergreen.

Personal: Birthday is May 3.
