2015 Cross Country: Competed in two races ... ran a 6k at UCCS Rust Buster in the time of 20:45 minutes on Sept. 5, finished 15 out of 29 ... ran best 8k at Colorado College Invite in the time of 28:33 on Spet. 19, finished 64 out of 132.
2015 Outdoor Track: Competed in five races ... ran a season-best 800m on April 25 in 2:02.87 at the CSM Pre-Conference Open ... ran a season-best 1500m in 4:17.67 on March 21 at the CSU-Pueblo Open.
2014-15 Indoor Track: Competed at four races ... finished 19th at the RMAC Championships in the mile in 4:48.96 ... ran a season-best mile of 4:36.42 on Jan. 31 at the Mines Division II Invitational ... ran a season-best 800m in 2:07.41 on Feb. 21 at the Joe Davies Open ... helped the 4x400m relay team finish second in 3:46.24 on Feb. 21.
2014 Cross Country: Competed in three races ... was the team's top finisher at the CSU Invitational, placing 63rd in 16:16 in the 5k ... finished 65th in the RMAC open race on Nov. 8 in 29:29.0 in the 8k.
2014 Outdoor Track: Redshirted ... competed in three races unattached ... ran a season-best 2:00.57 in the 800m on April 26 at the Jack Christiansen Invitational.
2013-14 Indoor Track: Redshirted ... competed unattached in the 800 meters at the Potts Invitational on Jan. 18 and finished in 2:14.14.
2013 Cross Country: Competed in three races ... finished 43rd at the Colorado College Invitational 8k in 28:13 on Sept. 21 for best finish of the season.
High School: 2013 graduate of Dakota Ridge High School ... four-year letterwinner in track and three-year letterwinner in cross country ... coached by Mike Callor and Mark Steinbeck ... two-time second team all-conference in cross country ... state track qualifier in 3200m relay as sophomore, junior and senior ... ran personal-best times of 2:01 (800m), 4:34 (1600m), 10:03 (3200m) ... also three-year letterwinner in soccer.
Personal: Born Austin Clark Ard on Aug. 15, 1994 ... son of Karla and Fred Ard ... has two older sisters, Jardin and Kaitee ... majoring in physical education (K-12) ... plans to continue running after graduation.
