Jasmine Cervantes enters her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Roadrunners in 2016-17.

In 2014-15, she helped the team to a 13-13 overall record, despite having three sophomores and one freshman in the starting lineup. Georgia Ohrdorf, the RMAC freshman of the year, was one of three all-conference players. The lone senior on the team Deni Jacobs was named Capital One Academic All-District and helped the team to a 3.36 GPA for the school year.

She helped guide a young team that lost three four-year starters to a 12-10 record in RMAC play and 13-14 mark overall in 2013-14. The Roadrunners finished the season strong, going 10-6 over the final 16 games.

She began her coaching career in 2013-14 after completing her playing career in 2011-12. As a student-athlete, she led the Roadrunners to two RMAC championships and two NCAA tournament appearances in her final two seasons, including the 2011 Elite Eight run. She holds the career record for assists (462) and ranks second in steals (227) and seventh in rebounds (672) and scoring (1,118).

Cervantes graduated from MSU Denver in 2014 with her bachelor's degree in industrial design.
