2009 Outdoor: Was one of the top distance runners for the Roadrunners … earned second team All-RMAC honors in the 10,000 meter run and third team honors in the 5000m … set the school record in the 1500m at the CU Invitational on April 11 in 4:59.41 … placed third at the CSU-Pueblo Invitational in the 5000m run in a season-best 19:12.85 time … finished fifth at the RMAC Championships in the 5000m in 19:56.23 … ran the 10,000m in 41:08.98 at the RMAC Championships for a fourth place finish.
2008-09 Indoor: Competed in the 3000m run at the Mines Twilight on Feb. 20 with a time of 11:18.30 … also ran the 5000m at the Joe Davies Invitational, finishing in 20:31.02.
2008 Cross Country: Was one of Metro State’s top runners, leading the team to a 19th-place finish at the NCAA Championships … ran a season-best 23:18.1 (6K) at the NCAA Central Region Championships, finishing 34th … placed 23rd at the RMAC Championships in a time of 23:18.8 … finished 84th at the NCAA Championships in a time of 23:48.
2008 Outdoor: A second team All-RMAC performer after finishing fifth in the 5000 meters in a time of 20:24.67 … placed seventh in the 1500 meters (5:11.45) at the Jack Christiansen Invitational … ran 2:27.84 to place fifth in the 800 meters at the Potts Collegiate.
2008 Indoor: Finished 15th in the 3000 meters at the RMAC Championship (11:18.66) … ran on the distance medley relay team that finished sixth at the conference meet … placed third in the 3000 meters at the CSM Twilight Open (11:35.15).
Before Metro State: Spent her 2005-06 freshman and 2006-07 sophomore seasons at Spokane Falls Community College … ran both track and cross country … the Bigfoot won the 2005 conference cross country championship and the 2006 and 2007 track conference titles … finished second in the 2006 NWAACC meet and third in the women’s 10,000 meters at the 2007 league track meet.
High School: 2005 graduate of Chelan High School … four-year letterwinner in track and cross country … the Mountain Goats won the league and district championship in each of her four seasons … coached by Mark Anderson and Jack Rutter.
Personal: Born May 8, 1987, to Jack and Anita Rutter … has a brother, Alex, and two sisters, Nikki and Chelsea … twin sister Chelsea also ran track and cross country (2007-2009) at Metro State … enjoys riding horses and swimming ... majoring in biology.
