Dave Carver joined the Roadrunners women’s soccer team for the 2017 season and begins his second season with the program in 2018. He previously served as the head coach of the FC Boulder men’s team.
Carver gained his collegiate coaching experience at Schoolcraft (Mich.) College in Livonia, Mich., holding the head coach position for the women’s soccer team. While at Schoolcraft Collage, Carver led his team to NJCAA National Championship appearances in both 2015 and 2016.
In addition to Carver’s college coaching experience, he spent many years coaching at the club level. This includes the Michigan Jaguars, AC Milan Detroit, The Academy, and the Lincoln City Ladies. At the Academy in Essex, England, Carver created the first women’s soccer team for the organization. While coaching the Lincoln City Ladies, a U-16 girls team in Lincolnshire, England, Carver lead the growth of the club which resulted in a professional women’s team in the FA WSL.
In back-to-back years (2015 and 2016), Carver was named the NJCAA, Michigan Community College Athletic Association and Region 12 women’s soccer coach of the year. In 2013 Carver was named Michigan State Youth Soccer Association’s Male Competitive Coach of the Year.
Carver received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England, in 2007.
