Melissa Charloe begins her second season as an assistant coach with the Roadrunners in 2016. She helped the Roadrunners to an 8-7-5 finish in 2015.
Prior to joining the Roadrunners, she spent four years as an elementary teacher for schools serving low-income communities. She also brings extensive playing experience after competing for one year at the University of North Carolina, three years at Penn State and then playing one year professionally in Spain. At Penn State, Charloe led the Nittany Lions to three Big Ten championships and earned academic all-Big Ten and the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award. She also won an NCAA championship in 2006 at North Carolina. Charloe graduated from Penn State in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in communications, arts and sciences, with a minor in Spanish.
A native of Cave Creek, Arizona, she is married to Kevin Charloe.
