2014: Started 18 games at central defender ... attempted four shots ... had a 0.54 individual goals against average in 1,336 minutes ... helped the Roadrunners finish second in the RMAC and 26th in Division II in GAA, and second in the RMAC and 23rd nationally in shutout percentage ... MSU Denver outscored its opponents 19-8 when Ryals was in the game.

2013: Started 16 games and played in 17 as a center defender ... attempted two shots ... had a +22 plus/minus rating and 0.57 individual goals against average in 1,260 minutes ... her individual GAA was best among starting players ... suffered an injury late in the season and missed several games ... Metro State was 11-1-4 when Ryals started and all eight of the team's shutouts came when she started ... helped the Roadrunners finish third in the RMAC in GAA ... started two games at the NCAA tournament, playing through her injury.

2012: Played in 11 games with three starts as a defender ... attempted two shots ... had a +6 plus/minus rating and a 0.73 individual goals against average ... started in a 1-0 win over Colorado Mines on Sept. 30, in a 5-0 win over Colorado Christian on Oct. 12 and in a 1-0 loss at Colorado Mesa on Oct. 19.

2011: Made 16 appearances with 11 starts primarily as a defender ... scored a goal in Metro State's 6-1 win vs. Nebraska- Kearney on Oct. 2 ... attempted four shots with two shots on goal ... helped Metro State post a 1.36 goals against average and limited opponents to 109 shots on goal throughout the season ... finished tied for second with a +13 plus/minus rating (28 goals forced, 15 goals against) playing 1,063 minutes during the season.

Before Metro State: Redshirted in 2010 at NCAA Division I Cal State Bakersfield.

High School: 2010 graduate of Lewis-Palmer High School ... three-year letterwinner ... coached by Ian Wale ... named first team all-state as a senior ... three-time first team academic all-state ... led LPHS to league championships as a junior and senior and the state semifinals as a senior.

Club Team: Played for Storm Academy Copa ... coached by Scott Dedycker.

Personal: Born Feb. 7, 1993, in Misawa, Japan ... daughter of Shane and Susan Ryals ... has a younger brother, Dillon, and younger sisters, Serah and Lindsey ... majoring in anthropology with a minor in art history.
