MSU Denver Athletics

Drew Powers enters his 11th year as an assistant athletic trainer with MSU Denver in 2021-22. He is the main contact for volleyball and women's basketball and he is the liaison between the athletic training department and the university's health and wellness program.

He joined MSU Denver’s athletic training staff in 2011-12 after completing graduate school at Northern Arizona. He earned his undergraduate degree at Colorado Mesa in 2007 in athletic training.

Powers also has two years of experience with the USA Hockey Rocky Mountain District Player Development Camps as an athletic trainer.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time being active outdoors, particularly in the mountains, with his wife and two daughters.

A native of Grand Junction, Colo., Powers attended Central High School.
