Former CSU Pueblo All-American Devundrick Walker joined the MSU Denver coaching staff for cross country and track & field in August, 2023.

He works with the Roadrunners' distance runners.

At CSU Pueblo, Walker earned sixth-place finishes in the 800 meters in 2019 at both the NCAA Division II Indoor at Outdoor National Championships. His time at the indoor event was 1 minute, 50.63 seconds, while at the outdoor meet he ran 1:51.44. Walker also scored at the 2018 Outdoor National Championships, finishing seventh in 1:48.92, which was just off his career-best time of 1:48.59. In 2015, he placed sixth at Outdoor Nationals in 1:50.80 Walker was also part of distance medley relay teams at the Indoor Nationals that placed first (2019), second (2015 and 2018) and third (2017). He competed, but did not place, in the 800 at the 2016 Outdoor Nationals and 2018 Indoor Nationals.

Walker was the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference champion in the 800 three times (twice indoors, once outdoors). Outdoors in 2019, when he was also part of the championship 4x400 relay, and he placed third in the 800 in 2018 and 2016, earning another 4x400 relay championship in 2016, and had yet another 4x400 title outdoors in 2015, when he was also second in the 800. At RMAC Indoor Championships, he was seventh in the 800 and was on the third-place 4x400 relay in 2015, placed third in the 800 and first in the 4x400 in 2016, was the 800 champion as well as on both first-place relays in 2017, and ran to the 800 title while taking part in a pair of third-place relays in 2018, then ran on a two victorious relays in 2019.
