Heather Racine joined MSU Denver as an assistant athletic trainer in August, 2022.
Racine had spent the previous six years at Indiana Tech, where her primary responsibilities were the men’s soccer, women’s wrestling and softball teams while serving as athletic trainer for four years. Prior to that, she had been a graduate assistant trainer for two years at Indiana Tech.
Among her duties were serving as the host athletic trainer for NAIA national tournament soccer games in 2019, 2020 and 2021, assisting healthcare providers during the COVID-19 pandemic while implementing guidelines and restrictions to provide a safe environment for student-athletes, collaborating with team physicians and physical therapists as well as coaches and staff members, and maintaining the athletic training room inventory.
Racine earned her master’s degree in organizational leadership from Indiana Tech in 2019. She earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Manchester (Ind.) in 2017.
