The No. 15 Metro State men's soccer team (7-3-2, 4-1-2 RMAC) was upset by Colorado State-Pueblo, 3-2, Friday afternoon in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play in Pueblo, Colo.
Udobong Obotette scored two early goals for the Thunderwolves and John Christy added his first of the season to give Pueblo a commanding 3-0 lead. Metro State was not able to score until the 87th minute when Ola Sandquist headed in a pass from Joey Duran. Just five seconds later, Duran scored his own goal to close the score to 3-2.
The 'Runners return home to Auraria Field to host Regis, Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
