The No. 18 Metro State soccer team (9-3-3, 6-1-3 RMAC) routed Colorado Christian, 9-0, Sunday afternoon in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) play at Auraria Field.

Eight different 'Runners scored, including four for their first goal of the season. Ola Sandquist began the scoring in the 13th minute, followed by Kellen Johnson just eight seconds later to give the 'Runners a quick 2-0 lead. Tyler Hambrick added his third goal of the season, followed by Johnson's second of the game and 13th of the season. Ri Armstrong, Augusto Bueno, Sam Rolph and Issa Bissau all scored their first goals of the season for the 'Runners.

MSCD will face CSU-Pueblo, Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Auraria Field. The Thunderwolves handed the 'Runners their only loss in RMAC play this season.
