Metro State will host Colorado Christian and Colorado Mines on Friday and Saturday. Both games will start at 5 p.m. Friday's game will be broadcast on AM 1510 and FM 93.7 on Mile High Sports Radio.

RECENT NOTES
•   Metro State snapped a five-game road losing streak with a 67-60 win at Chadron State on Dec. 21, the longest road losing streak since 2003-04.
•   Freshman
Jenae Paine (Oregon City, Ore./Oregon City H.S.) broke out Dec. 20-21, averaging 12.5 points and hitting 5-of-9 (.556) 3-poitn field goals off the bench.
•   Paine helped MSU rally from a 14-point deficit with 12 minutes left on Dec. 21 at Chadron State in a 67-60 win.
•   Paine is averaging 8.0 points and shooting 47.8 percent over the past four games and made her first career start on Jan. 4 at Western New Mexico.

Cassie Lambrecht (Colorado Springs/Golden H.S.) broke out of a shooting slump at CSC, scoring 20 points on 6-of-13 shooting.
•   Lambrecht is averaging 14.3 points and shooting 4-of-8 on 3-pointers over the past three games.
•  Â
Kaysha Fox (Tacoma, Wash./Woodrow Wilson H.S.) had four steals and four points in her first career start at CSC.

Elena Velasquez (Albuquerque, N.M./Sandia H.S.) scored a career-high 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting on Dec. 13 in a win over UC-Colorado Springs, but was injured late in the game and missed the game the past five games.

Tai Jensen (Troy, Idaho/Troy H.S.) tallied career highs of 24 points and 11 rebounds in her first career start on Dec. 14 against CSU-Pueblo.

Kya DeGarmo (Albuquerque, N.M./Eldorado H.S.) returned on Jan. 3 from an injury before break and averaged 10.0 points and shot 3-of-7 from the outside Jan. 3-4 in New Mexico.
LAMBRECHT EARNS RMAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
•  Â
Cassie Lambrecht (Colorado Springs/Golden H.S.) was named RMAC offensive player of the week on Nov. 25 after the season's first two games.
•   Lambrecht averaged 18.0 points and shot 47.6 percent from the floor, 45.5 percent from 3-point range and 91.7 percent at the free throw line.
•   She had 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting in a 75-63 loss to No. 24 Minnesota State on Nov. 22.
•   She followed that up with a career-high 20 points and three assists, hitting 4-of-7 from the outside and 6-of-6 at the line in a 79-64 win over Nebraska-Kearney on Nov. 23.
EXHIBITION GAMES
•   Metro State went 2-0 in exhibition games this season.

Amy Nelson (Richmond, Utah/Sky View H.S.) was the leading scorer for the Roadrunners, averaging 12.0 points and 5.5 rebounds.

Elena Velasquez (Albuquerque, N.M./Sandia H.S.) averaged 11.5 points off the bench.
•  Â
Fawn Brady (Grand Junction, Colo./Grand Junction H.S.) averaged 9.0 points and 4.0 rebounds.
•   The Roadrunners forced an average of 22.0 turnovers.
DOMINATING THE CLASSROOM
• Metro State had a 3.40 team GPA during the fall semester in 2013.
•   In addition, seven of the team's 11 players were named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (3.5 GPA or higher for the semester):
