DENVER — The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its 2025-26 Women's Basketball Academic Honor Roll Monday afternoon, recognizing four members of the MSU Denver Roadrunners women's basketball program for their work in the classroom.
Seniors Brooklynn Jones and Brianna Sealy, along with juniors Alexei Trujillo and Madi Johnson, each earned a place on the conference honor roll. To be eligible for the distinction, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.30 cumulative grade-point average, complete at least two semesters at their current institution and have used a season of competition.
Johnson, a senior majoring in K-12 Physical Education, was joined on the list by Jones and Sealy, both psychology majors, while Trujillo represented the Roadrunners as a cybersecurity major. The quartet helped showcase the program's continued commitment to excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
The recognition comes on the heels of a strong season for MSU Denver under Lynn Kennedy, who guided the Roadrunners in his first season as head coach to their best campaign since the 2022-23 season. Along the way, the Roadrunners continued to emphasize academic success, highlighted by four players earning spots on the RMAC Academic Honor Roll.
