LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Karisa Price (Gilbert, Ariz./Highland H.S.) scored at 23:00 to give No. 15 Metropolitan State University of Denver a 1-0 at Colorado Christian on Friday morning. The win moved the Roadrunners to 10-1-2 overall and 7-0-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while CCU fell to 3-8-2 and 0-8-1. McKinzie Rieber (Highlands Ranch, Colo./ThunderRidge H.S.) in the center of the box and scored from the 6-yard box. It was her RMAC-leading eighth goal this season.
The Roadrunners kept the Cougars from any serious scoring chances, limiting them to just two shot attempts, neither on frame. Price finished with five of the team's 15 shot attempts.
