Men's soccer: Roadrunners fall 1-0 at Regis

DENVER - Martin Maybin scored with 14:07 remaining in regulation to give Regis University a 1-0 win over Metropolitan State University of Denver on Wednesday afternoon at Regis. The Roadrunners fell to 10-6-0 overall and 7-6-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while RU improved to 12-4-0 and 9-4-0.

MSU Denver had plenty of chances in the game, missing several chances from right in front of the net, missing a breakaway, and hitting the post on another attempt.

Maybin's goal came off a through ball from teammate Jacob Martinez, leading to a short breakaway.

Keegan Hand (Loveland, Colo./Thompson Valley H.S.) made two saves for the Roadrunners, who outshot the Rangers 11-to-9.

MSU Denver will wrap up the regular season on Friday at home against No. 11 Colorado Mesa.
