DENVER - Breanna Flores (Gilbert, Ariz./Gilbert H.S.) made seven saves to give No. 8 Metropolitan State University of Denver a scoreless tie with No. 15 Colorado School of Mines on Wednesday night at The Regency Athletic Complex at MSU Denver. The Roadrunners are now 12-1-4 overall and 9-0-4 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while CSM is 13-1-3 and 10-1-2.

Flores made two of her saves in overtime, including a diving stop to her right on a penalty kick with 14.3 seconds left in the first extra session. She made another diving stop in the second overtime period.

MSU Denver outshot CSM 20-to-13 in the game, but Jayln Yates also stopped all seven shots on goal by the Roadrunners.

MSU Denver will wrap up the regular season on Friday at home against Western State at 4:30 p.m. A win on Friday clinches second place in the RMAC. With a win on Friday and a Mines loss on Sunday to Fort Lewis, the Roadrunners would be RMAC regular season champions.
