COLORADO SPRINGS - University of Colorado Colorado Springs earned an 85-58 win over Metropolitan State University of Denver on Friday night in Colorado Springs. The Roadrunners fell to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while UCCS improved to 8-3 and 3-0. UCCS is ranked No. 14 in the D2SIDA top-25 poll.

Deni Jacobs (Plains, Kan./Southwestern Heights H.S.) led the Roadrunners with 23 points, shooting 9-of-14 from the floor. She also had six rebounds.
Georgia Ohrdorf (Wollongong, Australia/St. Mary Star of the Sea College) chipped in with nine points.

MSU Denver committed 24 turnovers and was outrebounded 42-to-30.

The Mountain Lions forced 15 MSU Denver turnovers to take a 32-20 lead into the half.

UCCS led by as many as 29 in the second half.

Abby Kirchoff scored 26 points to lead the Mountain Lions. Brittany Hernandez added 23 on 10-of-16 shooting.
