DENVER - Metropolitan State University of Denver earned their third Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference victory of the season with a 67-47 win against Chadron State Saturday Night at the Auraria Events Center. The Roadrunners improve to 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the RMAC, while the Eagles drop to 1-9 overall and 1-5 in the RMAC.

Emily Hartegan (Frisco, Texas/Wylie East H.S.) scored a game-high 21 points and becomes the first freshman for MSU Denver to have back-to-back 20-point games since Stacey Cox in 2006.

Deni Jacobs (Plains, Kan./Southwestern Heights H.S.) added 16 points and had a game-high 15 rebounds.
Georgia Ohrdorf (Wollongong, Australia/St. Mary Star of the Sea College) had 12 points and eight rebounds. She shot 5-of-7 from the floor.

MSU Denver outrebounded CSC 44-to-32 and held the Eagles to just 25 percent shooting in the game.

Hartegan led all scorers in the first half with 15 points and was 7-of-10 from the field. Ohrdorf had eight points. MSU Denver went on a 17-0 run early in the first half to build a 19-4 lead with 11 minutes to go. MSU Denver's defense held the Eagles to 33 percent from the field in the first half to lead 32-25 at the break.

MSU Denver shot 58 percent in the second half, while holding the Eagles to just 4-of-24 (.167) shooting.

Emma Block led the Eagles in Scoring with 17 points.
