Metro State will play at Colorado College on Wednesday. The Roadrunners return home on Friday to face Holy Names (Calif.) and Hastings (Neb.), before the men host Sonoma State (Calif.) on Sunday.

GRAETZ NAMED RMAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
•
Josh Graetz (Albury, Australia/The Scots School) was named RMAC player of the week on the men's side on March 20.
• Graetz earned a big win at No. 1 singles against Bethany College on March 13, winning 6-4, 6-0 over Laurentsi Arakhamiya, who is ranked No. 27 in NAIA
• On March 14, Graetz earned another singles win again Koo Miyake from Wartburg College, winning the first and second set 6-0.
•
He also competed in doubles that day with
Adrien Delvaux (Flower Mound, Texas/Flower Mound H.S.), winning 8-1.
HOLOPAINEN MAKES HISTORY BY WINNING REGIONAL:
•
Naomi Holopainen (Lahti, Finland/Salpausselän H.S.) became the second female player in school history to win the ITA regional singles championship during the fall season.
• Jasmon Crabb (2002) was the only other player in history to win the singles title.
• Two pairs have won the regional doubles championship, most recently Rebecca Meares and Jessica Meares in 2003.
• Holopainen is ranked No. 28 in Division II singles, the first nationally-ranked female at Metro State since 2004 (Rebecca Meares).
BACK HOME:
• Metro State's tennis teams returned back to campus in 2013-14 for the first time since 2010.
• Construction for the Hotel and Hostitality Learning Center and Marriott SpringHill Suites took place on the previous on-campus tennis courts.
• The new tennis courts were completed during the summer of 2013 and are the first phase of the The Regency Athletic Complex at MSU Denver.
LEADING THE WAY IN THE CLASSROOM:
• The women's team had a 3.55 grade point average during the fall semester, best of any Metro State athletics team.
• The men's team had a 3.29 GPA during the fall semester.
• Six athletes made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll during the fall semester (3.5 GPA or higher):
