Tennis: Men's team wins fourth straight at Colorado College

COLORADO SPRINGS - Metro State's men's tennis team won its fourth straight match on Wednesday, blanking Colorado College 9-0 in Colorado Springs, while the women's team fell 6-3. The men's team improved to 7-6 on the season.

All six singles players won in straight sets. Chris Anderson (El Paso, Texas/Americas H.S.) and Jonathan Evangelista (Brighton, Colo./Brighton Collegiate H.S.) breezed to an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles.

Wanda Holopainen (Lahti, Finland/Salpausselän H.S.) and Kaitlyn Miller (Castle Rock, Colo./Rock Canyon H.S.) both earns singles wins for the women's team. Holopainen and Cristina Oropeza (Nogales, Ariz./Nogales H.S.) combined for a win at No. 1 doubles as well.

The Roadrunners return home on Friday.
