Box Score PUEBLO, Colo. - Metro State's season came to an end Tuesday as the Roadrunners fell 51-46 at Colorado State-Pueblo in the first round of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Shootout. Metro State ended its season with a 13-14 record, while CSUP improved to 22-7.

Cassie Lambrecht (Colorado Springs/Golden H.S.) led the Roadrunners with 12 points in her final game. Freshman
Kaysha Fox (Tacoma, Wash./Woodrow Wilson H.S.) buried three 3-pointers for a career-high nine points.
The Roadrunners shot just 29.8 percent in the game and forced just four turnovers.
Despite the rough shooting night, the Roadrunners kept the game close the entire way by dominating the boards, outrebounding the ThunderWolves 45-to-37.
CSU-Pueblo held its largest lead of the game at 11 points early in the first half, but Metro State crawled back to trail 25-21 at halftime.
The ThunderWolves built a nine-point lead seven minutes into the second half, but the Roadrunners fought back again to trail just 40-39 with 4:41 remaining on a jumper by senior
Kya DeGarmo (Albuquerque, N.M./Eldorado H.S.). But CSUP scored the next six points and kept the margin within seven points the rest of the way.
Metro State says goodbye to four seniors in Lambrecht, DeGarmo,
Amy Nelson (Richmond, Utah/Sky View H.S.) and
Tai Jensen (Troy, Idaho/Troy H.S.). Nelson and Jensen each scored five points.
