DENVER - Josh Graetz (Albury, Australia/The Scots School) earned his 10th consecutive win at No. 1 singles as Metro State upset No. 47 Lindenwood (Mo.) 5-4 on Wednesday at The Regency Athletic Complex at MSU Denver. The women's team fell 7-2.

Graetz broke the school record for consecutive wins at No. 1 singles, topping the previous record of nine set by Peter Lantz (2000) and Sascha Ruckelshausen (2009). Graetz earned a 6-1, 6-0 win over Filip Bogic to break the record.

Graetz and Adrien Delvaux (Flower Mound, Texas/Flower Mound H.S.) won 8-5 at No. 1 doubles and Andrew Haralson (Wichita, Kan./Wichita Northwest H.S.) and John Qualls (Henderson, Nev./Foothill H.S.) won 8-2 at No. 3. Nick Baker (Lee's Summit, Mo./Lee's Summit West H.S.) cruised to a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles before John Qualls (Henderson, Nev./Foothill H.S.) clinched the match with a 7-5, 1-6, 6-2 victory at No. 4.

On the women's side, Wanda Holopainen (Lahti, Finland/Salpausselän H.S.) won at No. 1 singles and she and Cristina Oropeza (Nogales, Ariz./Nogales H.S.) earned a victory at No. 1 doubles.

The Roadrunners will play in Billings, Mont., on Friday and Saturday against Colorado State-Pueblo and MSU Billings.
