Box Score DENVER - Metropolitan State University of Denver's men's soccer team opened The Regency Athletic Complex at MSU Denver with a 4-1 win in an exhibition on Friday against Laramie County Community College. The Roadrunners are 2-0 in exhibition play.

After allowing an early goal at 16:08, MSU Denver dominated the rest of the way. Danny Arrubla (Chandler, Ariz./Hamilton H.S.) evened the score at 1-1 less than two minutes later after a shot from the right corner following a turnover.

Jack Mayfield (Boulder, Colo./Fairview H.S.) forced another turnover after a strong 1 v 2 effort, putting the Roadrunners in front 2-1 at 29:18.

Josh Belfrage (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Mountain Vista H.S.) scored on a one-touch shot off a Dustin Berg (Castle Rock, Colo./Douglas County H.S.) cross from the right side at 63:51.

At 80:41, Trevor Irion (Gilbert, Ariz./Gilbert H.S.) launched an inbounds throw into the 6-yard box, where it found Ikaika Nichols (Englewood, Colo./Cherry Creek H.S.) for another one-touch goal.

Arrubla led MSU Denver with seven shot attempts and Belfrage and Mayfield each had four. For the game, the Roadrunners outshot LCCC 24-8.

Keegan Hand (Loveland, Colo./Thompson Valley H.S.) played the first half in goal and Jorge Vega (Denver, Colo./North H.S.) made one stop in the second half.

MSU Denver's annual Alumni Game will be held at 7 p.m. on August 30.
