Box Score AUSTIN, Texas - Dustin Berg (Castle Rock, Colo./Douglas County H.S.) scored a penalty kick in overtime to lift Metropolitan State University of Denver to a 2-1 win at St. Edwards in Austin, Texas, on Saturday afternoon. The Roadrunners moved to 2-0-0 on the season, while SEU fell to 1-2-0.

Josh Belfrage (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Mountain Vista H.S.) put the Roadrunners up 1-0 at 12:43, scoring from the center of the box off a cross from Jeff Gillis (Aurora, Colo./Smoky Hill H.S.).

The Hilltoppers evened the score at 30:45 when Primo Covarrubias banked in a shot off the far post on a long shot from outside the box.

SEU outshot the Roadrunners 15-11 in the game. James Tanner (Lake Stevens, Wash./Lake Stevens H.S.) stopped five shots for MSU Denver, which will face Dallas Baptist on Monday in Austin at noon CT.
