DENVER - With 16 seconds left in regulation, Regis University tied the game as Metro State University tied the Rangers 1-1 on Sunday. The Rangers are now at 6-3-2, 2-2-2, RMAC, while the Roadrunners are now at 5-3-3, 2-2-3 RMAC.

The Roadrunners held the lead for the majority of the game as
Korena Perales (Aurora, Colo./Eaglecrest H.S.) scored a goal in the first ten minutes of the game. The freshman made a 20 yard shot in to the left hand side on the goal.

 Rangers sophomore Maggie Saras scored a header off a free kick into the goal with 16 seconds left in regulation sending the Roadrunners and the Rangers into double overtime.

Breanna Flores (Gilbert, Ariz./Gilbert H.S.) made seven saves for the Roadrunners, including two in overtime. Regis outshot the Roadrunners 16-15 in the game. The Roadrunners will be in action when they host Westminster (Utah) on Friday at 7 p.m.Â
