PUEBLO, Colo. - Josh Belfrage (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Mountain Vista H.S.) scored in the 84th minute to give Metropolitan State University of Denver a 1-0 victory at Colorado State-Pueblo on Friday night. The Roadrunners improved to 6-3-1 overall and 4-2-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while the ThunderWolves fell to 5-4-0 and 1-2-0.

It was the second time in less than a week Belfrage scored the winner in a 1-0 victory after scoring in the second half to beat Colorado Christian last Sunday.

Jack Mayfield (Boulder, Colo./Fairview H.S.) earned the assist on the play for the Roadrunners.

Hayden Rus (Gilbert, Ariz./Gilbert H.S.) stopped three shots to earn the shutout in goal. The Roadrunners outshot CSUP 9-6 in the game.

MSU Denver is off on Sunday and will return to action a week from today when it hosts Regis University at 7 p.m.
