Pueblo, Colo. – The Metropolitan State University of Denver women's basketball team fell to Lubbock Christian 72-44 on Saturday night. The Roadrunners are now 0-2 on the season.
Sophomore
Georgia Ohrdorf (Wollongong, Australia/St. Mary Star of the Sea College) scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Roadrunners in both categories. Sophomore
Hannah Stipanovich (St. Louis, Mo./Clayton H.S.) tallied eight points and six rebounds while junior
Jenae Paine (Oregon City, Ore./Oregon City H.S.) scored six points.
The Roadrunners shot 30.4 percent in the game on 17-of-56 shooting compared to Lubbock Christian's 40.0 percent. MSU Denver trailed at the half 37-26. The Roadrunners were outrebounded in the game 45-37.
MSU Denver will travel to Colorado Springs, Colo. on Nov. 20-21 for two games against Northern State and Cal State East Bay. Tip-off will be at 5:30 p.m. both nights.
