ALAMOSA, Colo. - J'nae Squires-Horton made three 3-pointers in the final minute, including the game-winner with two seconds left, to give Adams State a wild 86-84 win over Metropolitan State University of Denver on Saturday night in Alamosa, Colorado. The Roadrunners dropped to 13-11 overall and 10-10 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while ASU improved to 4-20 and 4-16.

Squires-Horton came off the bench and scored 29 points, shooting 6-of-11 from 3-point range in the game.

Five Roadrunners scored in double figures for MSU Denver and those five players accounted for all 86 points.
Deni Jacobs (Plains, Kan./Southwestern Heights H.S.) led the team with 21 points, making 11-of-12 at the free throw line and had 11 rebounds for the double-double.
Jenae Paine (Oregon City, Ore./Oregon City H.S.) sunk 5-of-9 3-point field goals and scored 18 points.
Brittany Curl (Absarokee, Mont./Absarokee H.S.) had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, making 3-of-5 from long range.
Georgia Ohrdorf (Wollongong, Australia/St. Mary Star of the Sea College) had 16 points and nine rebounds and
Hannah Stipanovich (St. Louis, Mo./Clayton H.S.) added 12 points off the bench.

The Roadrunners trailed 45-38 at halftime after allowing eight 3-pointers and forcing just two turnovers in the first half.

Trailing 52-44 with 16 minutes remaining, the Roadrunners went on an 11-0 run to take a 55-52 lead. MSU Denver trailed one more time before the final minute at 61-60 before a 15-2 run gave the Roadrunners a 75-63 lead with five minutes left in the game.

The Grizzlies came storming back with 10 straight points in the final four minutes to lead 80-79 after a 3-pointer by Squires-Horton with 52 seconds left. Squires-Horton buried another 3-pointer with 29 seconds left after Jacobs sunk two free throws, putting ASU ahead 83-81.

Jacobs made 3-of-4 at the line over the next 10 seconds to give the Roadrunners an 84-83 lead before Squires-Horton sunk the game-winning 3-pointer with two seconds remaining.
